I've lost it. The only thing in the world I wasn't supposed to lose. My engagement ring. It's been in Magnus's family for three generations. And now, the very same day his parents are coming, I've lost it. The very same day. Do not hyperventilate, Poppy. Stay positive!!

Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry the ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her 'happy ever after' begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring but in the panic that followed, she has now lost her phone. As she paces shakily round the hotel foyer she spots an abandoned phone in a bin. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect!

Well, perfect except the phone's owner, businessman Sam Roxton doesn't agree. He wants his phone back and doesn't appreciate Poppy reading all his messages and wading into his personal life.

What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other's lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents... she soon realises that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.

Oh my goodness! Sophie Kinsella has done it again. I don't know how she can continue to pop out these fantastic books! Somehow she has captivated me again with her quirky characters! I don't usually even read Adult Fiction and I still loved this one!

The only part of the book that was mediocre to me was the cover. I'm just not the hugest fan. It's not horrible or anything, just not very eye-catching. I also don't like the fact that the author's name is larger then the book title. It seems more like an advertisement for the author, not the book. It should be the opposite.

Poppy, the main character, was a riot! I NEVER laugh while reading a book, but her crazy escapades had me giggling non-stop. I felt like she was somebody I could see myself being friends with. She was a great mix of goofy and serious. I love the way she dealt with her life, not with a negative attitude, but more of an "oh well, I'll fix it later" attitude. I think that was what added to the humor.

Her unusual relationship with Sam was a great part of the book. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two, even though I guessed what would happen at the end almost from the beginning. What a unique way to meet a new person though!

And then there is Magnus. What a jerk! I knew I would hate him from the start, just for being a "pretty" boy. I just despise characters like him. From the beginning he just seemed fake. Coming from a perfect family, there is bound to be one screw-up. Turns out my suspicions were right, but I won't spoil that for you!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Rarely do I read a 400+ page book in four days, so that's saying something. This book was a great mix of humor and tragedy. Generally a great Summer read with lots of quirks. I would recommend this book to every YA reader!

I will be giving this book 5 stars!
